On June 5th, The Friends of Alley Pond Park hosted an event which involved the planting of a pollinator garden near the adventure course. The event had an impressive turnout and was made possible by a tireless amount of planning by FOAPP member Mike Feller, donations by NYC parks through Northeast Queens Parks Administrator Matt Symons, and the enthusiastic work of our members, some of whom made several visits to help prepare the site before the event.
