The Friends of Alley Pond Park (“FoAPP”) are the recipients of the Partnership for Parks/City Parks Foundation match with an IOBY(Its Our Backyard) fundraiser. For each dollar donated, Partnership for Parks will match up to $3,000. We have reached our goal of $3,000!
This money is for the 2023 Estuary Day celebration (9/23/23) to purchase prizes, refreshments, and for outreach materials. we will partners from NYC Parks & Recreation, Alley Pond Environment Center, the Department of Environmental Conservation, and several more being added.
Join us at Oakland Lake on Saturday, 9/23/23, from 10 am to 2 pm. There will be educational materials, activities for adults and children.
